At the end of the training session, 2 people are nominated from amongst the 'Akali Nihang Baba Darbara Singh Sanatan Suraj Bansia Shastar Vidiya Shiv Akhara' congregation to count and register the 'Rast Bast Chara'.

The amount is then registered and announced by them to all present. The Akhara 'Shagird', after first taking out 'Daswand', and provided there is enough 'Rast Bast Chara', give the 'Akhara Gurdev' the predetermined 'Guzar' required by him by placing it before the weapons, as is Akali Nihang tradition.

The Gurdev then asks for 'Ageya' of all present, considering them 'Sadh Sangat'. In one voice all present shout “Ageya!”, at which point, if any one wishes to dispute the decision, they can do so at this point. If there is no objection, the 'Akhara Gurdev' picks up the 'Guzar' before the weapons and touches it to his forehead, considering it the gift of the Guru.

Note: It is the Akhara 'Shagirds', NOT the 'Akhara Gurdev' who, by consulting amongst them, decide the 'Guzar'. The Gurdev may only take 'Guzar' from one Akhara, or only take the total predetermined 'Guzar' from however many Akharas as it requires to sum up his 'Guzar'. From non-'Guzar' giving Akharas, the 'Akhara Gurdev' may only take 'Chara' (traveling) expenses.

The 'Guzar' should be in tune with these words of Akali Guru Arjan Dev Ji Maharaj:

'In the household where there is too much there are worries.
In the household there is too little there is wondering.'
    ('Adi Guru Durbar')
