The 'Daswand', taken out goes to the central main 'Akali Nihang Baba Darbara Singh Sanatan Suraj Bansia Shastar Vidiya Shiv Akhara' based in Wolverhampton, UK.

The 'Panj Piyareh' of the 'Shiv Akhara' will be custodians of this Guru's fund account. The 'Parmukh Akhara Gurdev', will have NO dealings with this 'Daswand'. This 'Daswand' collected from the Akharas along side the money earned from the sale of books on Sanatan Hindu Sikh Shastar Vidiya, etc. will serve as Guru's reserve treasury.

The 'Daswand' will fund:

1. The 'Akali Nihang Baba Darbara Singh Sanatan Suraj Bansia Shastar Vidiya Shiv Akhara'.

2. The finance and support any charitable causes, which are in tune with the universal Sanatan (traditional) mission of Akali Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj. For instance, setting up or financing 'Langar' (free food feeding kitchens) in the impoverished regions of the world, providing money for the education of the orphaned in the world, giving to established reputable charitable institutions e.g. NSPCC, Red Cross, Amnesty International, etc. All this will be done in the name of Akali Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj and the Sikh Gurus.

3. Preservation of Sanatan Hindu Sikh heritage.

4. Train individuals in the declining classical Sikh traditions, eg, music, reading scriptures, etc.

5. Financing the four traditional Guru-ordained Sanatan Sikh orders - Akali Nihang Singh Khalsa, Udasis, Nirmala Panth and Seva Panthis/Adan Shahi (see www.sarbloh.info for more information). So as they may carry on their traditional role of promoting universal Sanatan 'Dharam'.
