Below the 'Parmukh Akhara Gurdev', is a chain of command of other 'Meet Jathedar' who are selected in order from the 'Panj Piyareh'.

Further below the 'Panj Piyareh', extends a chain of command of 'Shagird', depending on time in the Shiv Akhara and 'Vidiya' they possess, right up to the last person who joined the Shiv Akhara.

The position of 'Parmukh Akhara Jathedar' and the 'Panj Piyareh' is not inviolable. They are there because of merit. If any one of them falls from grace for whatever reason, the 'Shagirds', by giving valid reasons and proof, can move for a Shiv Akhara consensus and call for the dismissal of one or more of the five or even of the chief Akhara 'Gurdev'. If this happens, then the next in the chain of command will move up and fill the gap left.

The Akali Nihang Baba Darbara Singh Sanatan Suraj Bansia Shastar Vidiya Shiv Akhara is always open to listen to any sound advice given by anyone, even from outside its 'Akhara' system whose aims are the same.

The primary aim of the 'Shiv Akhara' is to promote and preserve Sanatan Hindu Sikh Shastar Vidiya and associated traditions.

As such, the 'Shiv Akhara' works amicably for the mutual benefit of all, with all!
