The authorship of Dasam Guru Durbar began to be questioned by British Raj-educated Tat Khalsa Singh Sabhia 'scholars'.
Spearheading this movement was one Teja Singh 'Bhasaur' who's prodigy, Randhir Singh Grewal, from Narangwal in Punjab, would go on to form the Akhand Kirtani Jatha (A.K.J.).
