The pluralistic nature of 'Sanatan' (traditonal) Sikh world which encapsulated all forms of Sikhs, both non-Khalsa and Khalsa, regardless of appearance, dietary habits and daily rituals. This is in contrast to the modern orthodox form of Sikhism where rules and dogma results in destruction of individuality and personal expression of faith and spirituality.
