All the previous Sanatan 'Avtar' and the demigods such as 'Brahma', 'Vishnu', 'Shiva', etc. prostrated themselves before Akali Guru Nanak Dev in 'Sach Khand'.

Akali Guru Nanak was now the 'Shiromani' representative of 'Va-eh Guru' on earth in 'Kal Yuga'. Va-eh Guru blessed Nanak with the wonderful knowledge with which to emancipate the world in 'Kal Yuga' from the cycle of transmigration and the consequent suffering that comes of it.

Akali Nihang oral tradition holds that the form in which this divine knowledge was dispensed to Akali Guru Nanak by Va-eh Guru, was in 2 parts:

1. 'Shabad Vidiya'
2. 'Shastar Vidiya'
