'Sansar Mai Abbeck dee Bani' can be translated directly as 'Worldly Scripture of Ignorance'.

This form of scripture refers to the portion of Dasam Guru Durbar known as, 'Treh Charittar'.

These stories held in the chapters of 'Treh Charittar', though predominately dealing with wiles of women, are of wondrous variety. There are sensual stories, romantic stories, funny stories, philosophical stories, valiant stories, stories of incest, of murder, of debauchery, of magic, of myth, of legend etc.

These tales were collected from Indian mythology, Punjabi folklore, Indian folklore and classical traditions. They come from foreign sources, personal experiences of the Guru and other sources. Scandalous stories floating about society, fictional stories etc. during the times of the Gurus, all found there way into 'Treh Charittar'. Sometimes some of these tales are mish-mashed together to produce a wonderful new concoction of stories.

These stories speak of those aspects of the real world that we live in that the purely spiritual teachings of 'Adi Guru Durbar' does not address. Within the real world there is evil, romance, valour, laughter, seduction, good, bad, sensual, erotica, etc. By reading and studying these stories say the Akali Nihang, keeps a warrior Singh in better form, and one becomes prepared to confront and overcome the various emotional, mental and physical troubles and tribulations in this world. As Sanatan Hindu Sikh Shastar Vidiya Gurdev Akali Nihang Mohinder Singh once explained:

'If we travel a road in which are dangerous potholes.
Is it not wisdom to be aware of them and thus avoid them?
Treh Chrittar forewarn the Khalsa of the potholes we encounter in daily life.
They warn us of all the evil consequences of lust, blind rage, greed, vices etc.'
(Sanatan Hindu Sikh Shastar Vidiya Gurdev Akali Nihang Baba Mohinder Singh)
