Through constant meditation and contemplation of techniques, tactics and strategies employed within Sanatan Hindu Sikh Shastar Vidiya, the intellect is sharpened and honed.

To this end, the mind is further trained through playing 'Chutrang', and studying ancient texts relationg to strategy such as 'Panjtantra', Hitopdesha', etc. The practitioner of the art is spiritually purified through study of the sacred scriptures such as 'Bhagwad Gita', 'Ramayana', 'Mahabharata', Hanuman Natak, and the three Sanatan Sikh scriptures - 'Adi Guru Durbar', 'Dasam Guru Durbar', and 'Sarbloh Guru Durbar'.

Training under constant pressure of physical harm imparts equipoise to the heart and mind. As such, the trainee he gains intelligence, wisdom, 'Atam Vishwas', self confidence, and radiates a greater sense of security in life - bringing him/her inevitable happiness and well being in life.

Over the past few years, the knowledge of 'Shastar Vidiya' has primarily spread across the Sikh diaspora. As a result, there have been a handful of individuals who consider the practices of the Akali Nihang Singhs (the practitioners of Shastar Vidiya), to be a threat to their ideological beliefs.

To this end, various sinister characters have taken a number of steps to encourage ignorance and hatred towards those practicing this combat art.
