The 'Khat Ang Yudhan' styles incorporate a myriad of fighting styles, including close-combat, joint locking, stand-up grappling, ground fighting, body-mangling and neck breaking.

    Nandi Yudhan (Bull style)

    Origins: Himalayas (Kalisa)
Combat style of Shiva's mount 'Nandi'. This is the first of the grappling styles. It is characterised by heavy, well-grounded, one-step width Pentra. It employs very close-quarter explosive digging strikes. Its main strength is in upright grappling, and body-mangling techniques.

    Narsingha Yudhan (Tiger style)

    Origins: Multan (Old Punjab)
Combat style of 'Narsingha Avtar'. It is characterised by wide, two-step width Pentra resulting in highly evasive movements. It is master of destroying an opponent's timing and rhythm. The strikes are strong and powerful - but its speciality lies in neck-breaking techniques. It also has a large repertoire of ground-fighting/wrestling techniques.

    Hanuvant Yudhan (Langur monkey style)

    Origins: Maharashtra, India
Combat style of 'Hanuman'. It is characterised by a wide two-step width low, ground-hugging Pentra. It specialises in fast groin strikes and a grappling style which wears down the opponent by draining the energy through technique. This is accomplished by strategically manipulating the opponent so they carry the weight of the aggressor and opponent. As the exhausted opponent collapses to ground, he is pounded/trampled under foot - main targets include the spine/neck and head.

To summarise so far, the 'Khat Ang Yudhan' Pentras include, Virahaa Yudhan, Sheshnag Yudhan, Grur Yudhan, Nandi Yudhan, Narsingha Yudhan, and Hanuvant Yudhan.
